Kirkcaldy Canoe Club held their June regatta on Sunday 22nd. The weather forecast for the day was poor, however the weather was much better than expected. There were several heavy shower through the day, but also some warm sunny spells, accompanied by a light to moderate westerly wind. There was a full programme of some 30 races in Lightnings, K1, K2, and K4. Competitors came from throughout Scotland to compete. The regatta formed a round of the Scottish Sprint League with points accrued over four regattas.

A very successful event was held and all the paddlers and helpers must be thanked for supporting the event and making it a great success. The next KCC regatta will be held on Sunday 31st August.
