The club have been carrying out a lot of work, under the auspices of Kinghorn Loch Users Group (KLUG) who manage the loch area, to improve the lochside and the launching facilities for the local watersport clubs (Kirkcaldy Canoe Club, Kinghorn Sailing Club, and Kirkcaldy District Scouts). The picture below shows the new quayside.

The club also regularly assist KLUG in refilling the five rafts with barley straw to suppress the blue-green algae with assistance from volunteers of the ecology centre.
